How to Order an Advertisement Banner

Click on the available location (Advertise Here)

Register or sign-in if you already have an account

Next click on Banners

Then click on Order a Banner

Complete the following

Banner Type; Select banner type from the pull down menu

Banner Image; Upload Banner Image (150 X 100) (200 X75) (468 X 60)

*Resizing your Banner Image can be done per your request, please contact  Customer Support

Amount; Must be equal to the amount shown in the Banner Type selection

Your ULR / Enter your sites web address

Location Targeting / Select location of desire

Click – Submit

Note:

         All banners are set to random rotation within each local city page (If all banner placements are full your banner will still appear on a random rotation basis)

How much does a general post cost?

All PeddlersNews ad postings are free of charge.

How to submit a post?

Start by going to the city page that you would like to post to

Next select the desired category

At the top of the page clickà Post Item

Enter a title in the Posting Title field. This is what people will click on to see the details of your posting description. (Posting Title, Specific Location, Item's Cost)

Enter all the details and information you want people to see in the Posting Description box

Enter your email address

Select the manner for which you would like to receive replies

Add desired images - Currently you can add pictures to your post by selecting "Add Images" at the bottom of the posting form.

Review the Terms of Service (at least glance at it!), then click "I ACCEPT" if you agree.

On the next screen Ad Confirmation Screen you will be required to enter the Verification Code then click Confirm

We do not edit or proofread postings; when posting you hereby agree that YOU are responsible for the content.

You will receive an Activation email (You have to activate it within 3 hours otherwise your ad will be deleted)

Avoid scams and fraud
You can sidestep would-be scammers by following these common-sense rules:

·         DEAL LOCALLY WITH FOLKS YOU CAN MEET IN PERSON – follow this one simple rule and you will avoid 99% of the scam attempts on PeddlersNews.

·         NEVER WIRE FUNDS VIA WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM or any other wire service - anyone who asks you to do so is a scammer.

·         FAKE CASHIER CHECKS & MONEY ORDERS ARE COMMON, and BANKS WILL CASH THEM AND THEN HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE when the fake is discovered weeks later.

·         PEDDLERSNEWS IS NOT INVOLVED IN ANY TRANSACTION, and does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"

·         NEVER GIVE OUT FINANCIAL INFORMATION (bank account number, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc.)

·         AVOID DEALS INVOLVING SHIPPING OR ESCROW SERVICES and know that ONLY A SCAMMER WILL "GUARANTEE" YOUR TRANSACTION.

Harassment and/or publication of personal information

If you’re personal information has been posted in a PeddlersNews ad:

Please contact Customer Support

Provide as much information as possible, including the posting ID number, keywords that might appear in the ad, and the specific PeddlersNews city and category in which the post appears.
